Accessibility & Translation Services

Burlington Public Schools are committed to providing websites that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability, including individuals with disabilities in compliance with the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990..

This website endeavors to comply with the best practices and standards as defined in Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These standards outline websites and the manner in which their content can be made more accessible for people with disabilities. Following these guidelines helps to make the world wide web more user-friendly for everyone.

BPS tests the district and school websites continuously to make sure that the content on these sites continues to be accessible to all visitors. Burlington Public Schools continues to improve the accessibility of this site with the availability of new technology and opportunities. To that end, the School District is in the process of creating a more accessible presentation of our content by early 2024. If you experience any difficulty in accessing a Burlington Public Schools website or document for any reason, including a disability or accessibility challenge, assistance, or you may file a complaint by emailing [email protected] or by contacting BPS Administrative offices at 781-270-1800.
